Equiti Foods/Good Bowls are healthy frozen meals that are based on the Mediterranean diet and come in over a dozen flavors. They were created by a UNC nutrition professor and feature whole grains, healthy oils, and roasted vegetables. Good Bowls are sourced and made in North Carolina and can be ordered for home delivery in the Raleigh/Durham region and purchased at regional co-ops. We are a mission driven company that believes everyone should have access to healthy food regardless of income or where they live so we have a variety of programs to help increase access to healthy delicious meals across the state.

Partner Programs
Healthy Opportunities Pilot
Equiti Foods LLC is a Human Services Organization for the Cape Fear Healthy Opportunities Pilot. As part of the program, eligible Medicaid patients receive non-medical interventions in hopes of achieving better long term health outcomes.
NIH Eat Well at Work Study
Equiti Foods, partially funded by an NIH grant and later supported by an STTR grant, is expanding its frozen-meal vending machine program to rural worksites while also testing AI-driven strategies to encourage healthier food choices, aiming to improve employee health and morale.
Local Food Promotion Program
Equiti Foods, supported by a USDA Local Food Promotion Program grant, is expanding its mission to support the local food economy and promote food equity by sourcing ingredients from local NC farmers, partnering with regional producers, and increasing distribution statewide.
